I have small children at home, is it OK if they're here in the background?

Of course. Most of our members are parents, some with older children and some with younger children, who will often make an appearance at our meetings. We understand how difficult it is to juggle running a business around caring for your children and we want to make it as easy as possible for you.

Will there be pressure to sign up to the membership?

Not at all. After the event, you'll be sent some information about it, in case you'd like to join, but there is no expectation and you certainly won't be pestered. Inviting Facebook group members to a free session brings new faces and variety to our regular members, so it's a win all round.

Will I be expected to prepare a timed pitch?

Definitely not. We find that conversational networking is the best way to make connections, form collaborations and get new clients.

First Breakout Room

You will be allocated into a small breakout room of 3-4 people, depending on the number of attendees. This will be a mixture of current members, to help you to settle in, as well as any new people attending a taster session on the day.

9:55 AM - 10:10 AM

10 Minute Speaker - followed by questions

Each week one of our members does a 10-minute talk around their area of expertise and how you can work with them. This is followed by a couple of minutes Q&A about the talk.
