Parenting Teenagers with Journalist and Broadcaster Suzie Hayman

Suzie Hayman is a counsellor, broadcaster, parenting educator, and author of over 30 educational books on parenting and families; Suzie was the counsellor on BBC1 series 'Stepfamilies'.
Parenting teens is hard! This event is for all parents, step-parents, grandparents and carers of young people aged 11 to 21, as well as professionals. It will leave you feeling more knowledgeable, skilled and competent in dealing with a whole range of topics, including:
- Moving from raising children to guiding teenagers
- Neuroscience - why they do what they do
- Selfies, sexting and trolling – social media, the internet and digital
- Porn, violence and misogyny
- Anorexia and cutting
- Resilience – building and encouraging it
There will be a talk plus plenty of time for questions and answers.
There will also be refreshments and books to purchase.
