Parents and Guardians of PLAC: promoting the education of PLAC.

This session looks at how parents/guardians can work with schools effectively to support their child's education. It explores the duties schools have regarding previously looked-after children and advises on how parents/guardians can best advocate for their child. Areas covered include: educational achievement of Plac; what schools must do; relationship building with school; pupil premium+; information sharing; admissions; and choosing a good school.
