Official Campaign Launch for Parents In Performing Arts.
Unions, practitioners and arts organisations will hold a panel discussion to kickstart a radical rethink in working practice for parents.
There will be an exclusive presentation of the results of research with over 500 parents from creative industries that highlights a massive shortfall in the collective creative industries’ conscience where parents are concerned, emphasising the necessity for more flexible thinking in terms of employment and childcare.
Romola Garai and Poppy Burton-Morgan are confirmed to speak. Lyn Gardner will cover the event for The Guardian.
NB The Creche is now full. Children are allowed in the main space. Please email us the age of your child if you are planning to bring them along: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please spread the word and help make this happen for the future of all parents working in performing arts.
