Parish Giving Scheme: Getting Going
Event Information
About this Event
The Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) is a a mechanism of planned giving. and its approach aims to offset one of the greatest threats to parish income which is static giving. Giving through this Scheme are made by Direct Debit, and can be given on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. Each donation is directed to that individual's parish church, and PGS claims the Gift Aid on your behalf. The Diocese of York formally adopted this Scheme in 2020.
This webinar is for parishes to find out more about the Scheme, how to register their parish to join, and best practice in promoting it to your communities. The webinar is led by York's Diocesan Generous Giving team, and is free to attend.
