Event description
Find out how the Parish Giving Scheme can help you rejuvenate giving in your church.

About this Event

Rejuvenate Giving in Your Parish

A new way to boost regular giving for Parishes will be launched across our Diocese in January 2020. The Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) is a proven way to boost levels of parish income and also offers a myriad of other benefits for parishes and givers alike.

The PGS helps regular givers donate safely to their church by direct debit either monthly, quarterly or annually. A key feature of this revolutionary scheme is the option to inflation-proof regular giving by linking it to the rate of inflation, thus helping combat static giving and boost a parish’s income. Developed ten years ago, 27 dioceses across the UK already trust and use the scheme and from January 2020 Parishes across the Diocese of Leeds can register for and introduce the scheme to their congregations.

Launch Event Details

This special launch event , organised by the Stewardship and Income Generation team, will be led by our clergy and will include a presentation from the CEO of the Parish Giving Scheme. You can also hear testimonials from representatives of parishes who are currently piloting the PGS across our diocese.

We hope you will join us at this special event to have your questions about the PGS answered and find out how the PGS can help you rejuvenate giving in your church.
