Park Life Reads – A FREE Summer Family Festival!
Warwickshire Libraries’ annual festival is back! Join us on Saturday 9th August at Riversley Park, Nuneaton for a day of family-friendly activities celebrating nature and creativity in one spectacular day!

This year, we’re teaming up with Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery to bring you an exciting mix of activities—both outdoors in the park and inside the gallery! We will also be providing free ice cream and free lunches on a first come, first serve basis.

In the Park
- Pony and donkey petting with Emma’s Donkeys
- Bouncy castle
- Face painting
- Storytelling with Aunty Jen Productions
- Poetry Performances by Kurly McGeachie
- Shakespeare workshops with 1623 Theatre
- Folk music throughout the day with Coranto Musicians
- Art and Craft Activities: nature journalling, watercolour painting, community art, silk painting and sustainable crafts
- Outdoor yoga sessions
- Facials and massages
- Henna art
Inside the Museum
- Sound Lab Foley sessions with the award winning Blunt & Brave: 10.30am, 11am, 11.30am, 12pm, 1pm, 1.30pm, 2pm, 2.30pm, 3pm and 3.30pm. Reserve a slot by booking!
- Family Storytelling sessions with Tom the Tale Teller at 11am, 12pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm
- Drop in animation sessions
- Make your own postcard craft activity
- Friends of the Museum: second-hand book sale
- Get hands-on with a selection of railway items from the musuem
