ParkBathe is a citizen-science project providing mindful walks and nature connection as a means to improve the health and wellbeing of people who might not normally engage in wellness activities. ParkBathe uses secular aspects of forest bathing, forest school and mindfulness and is simply walking slowly in a local green space whilst noticing our surroundings (no water is involved!)
The 1 hr guided sessions consist of small groups (max 12 people) in White Horse Road Recreation Ground run in collaboration with the Friends of group. There will then be 30 minutes of singing afterwards, with the option to stay for FREE activities throughout the day.
Join Catherine to slow down & be mindful in the Rec.
These sessions are offered free with the option to DONATE. We ask you to pause a moment before you book and consider if you can afford a donation ticket today. Donating allows us to continue providing these walks to those who cannot afford to pay.
For guidance on what to donate and our policy head HERE.
* We suggest you book up to 3 sessions so you gain the accumulative benefits and learn the techniques for yourself.
MEETING PLACE: Meet at the Gates to the park on Bologne Road, opposite the Legacy Centre and next to the small park building (NB. there are 2 entrances on this road!) The park address is Whitehorse Road, Croydon CR0 2QJ.
Here is a precise what3words address, made of 3 random words. Every 3 metre square in the world has its own unique what3words address.
