About this event

We are inviting people with Parkinson’s and their loved ones, researchers, and health and care professionals, to join us at this free event, featuring a range of talks about the Parkinson's research happening in Yorkshire & Humber and beyond.

The event will include speakers and presentations covering:

  • Parkinson's UK current research programme and what's on the horizon
  • Yorkshire and Humber research initiatives
  • How to get involved in research locally and nationally

The event will also discuss re-establishing a Yorkshire and Humber Parkinson’s Research Interest Group.

Speakers include:

  • Professor David Dexter, Director of Research at Parkinson's UK
  • Professor Heather Mortiboys, University of Sheffield
  • And more to be announced!

Lunch and refreshments throughout the day are included.

In person tickets are limited so please register early to avoid disappointment. Registration will close on Friday 19 September 2025.
