Delivered by Pam Moss, Academic Skills Tutor, this session aims to provide information and guidance regarding:

  • how a student can prepare for placement by conducting a Self – directed Placement Audit to enable self- directed learning and the identification of reasonable adjustments;

  • how staff can support students by exploring the importance of disclosure, the identification of reasonable adjustment and seeking agreement from a provider;

  • how a provider can be supported in meeting the needs of students with a Specific Learning Difference (SpLD) in a placement situation
