Part of the Warrior Trail - 3 miles
Many favourite walks return this year, including part of the Warrior Trail, which takes in the countryside where the original ‘War Horse’ named Warrior spent his days with his owner General Jack Seely. The walk will be led by the General’s Great Great Nephew, Bob Seely. A circular walk starting and finishing at the National Trust Car Park, Mottistone Gardens.
Please note, this walk is hilly in spots and takes approximately 2hrs 15mins. There will be non-seated rest stops throughout where Bob stops to talk about the history and many stories of the area.

Walk grade: Fairly Strenuous - A challenging walk, suitable for fit walkers with some experience. Steep gradients, stiles and steps and uneven surfaces to be expected.
Mobility level: Walkers need to be reasonably agile and mobile. Not suitable for walkers with mobility impairment of any kind
