Event description

Description

At this year's conference the theme will be Academic Resilience and how young people can make a successful transition into post-16 education.

We will review the progress made so far to support progression and the impact of changes to GCSEs and A Levels.

Our key note speaker Mary Hinton will be presenting on Academic Resilience.

Mary joined Young Minds in 2014 and has been leading a project in Bedford developing the Academic Resilience approach with a group of 13 schools as part of the Borough’s Well Being Strategy. This has included setting up communities of best practice for collaborative of schools; and supporting them to build resilience across whole school populations and structures.

The conference is an opportunity for schools, post-16 providers and other stakeholders to work together to support progression in a challenging landscape.
