Participatory budgeting, health and wellbeing
Thu 23 March 2017, 09:00 – 10:30 GMT
Fife Health and Wellbeing Alliance is launching a new Health Inequalities Seminar Series with an introduction to Participatory Budgeting (PB).
Susan Ritchie of PB Partners will share some of her rich experience of involving communities in decisions about how public money is spent, and the potential impact on engagement with communities, health and wellbeing.
The seminar will run from 9.30-10.30am (coffee and networking from 9.00am).
Following the seminar, Susan will facilitate a masterclass for workers and community members in Fife who have been actively involved in PB, or are working towards developing new PB initiatives. This will provide a space for people to share their experiences so far and explore the opportunities and barriers to developing meaningful PB processes. The masterclass will run from 11.00am-3.00pm.
Please note that the Eventbrite registration is for the seminar only. If you are interested in attending the masterclass, please email Gill Musk: firstname.lastname@example.org.
