Are you interested to learn about opportunities to supply to the public sector?
Do you need support to access procurement opportunities and bid for contracts?
Would you like to learn from other third sector organisations’ experience of bidding for/delivering public sector contracts?
Partnership for Procurement (P4P) is a new initiative funded through the Scottish Government’s 10 Year Social Enterprise Strategy; supporting social enterprises and third sector organisations to better access public contracts and build partnerships/consortia.
Join us at the second P4P Roadshow event in Inverness on Tuesday 6th March, delivered jointly with The Highland Council, Commercial and Procurement Shared Services (C&PSS). The event is aimed at third sector organisations and is an opportunity to learn about changes to the procurement landscape and how this can impact your efforts to supply the public sector.
During the session you will hear about the impact of the sustainable procurement duty and the practicalities of bidding for public sector contracts, including:
-
How procurement processes can be used to improve the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of the local area, deliver community benefits and value for money
-
How the process can facilitate the involvement of SME’s, third sector organisations and supported businesses
-
Examples of third sector organisations successfully bidding for, and delivering contracts
