This event is run by Sally Lee and Lee-Ann Fenge as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science 2018, organised by Bournemouth University.
Come and learn about the importance of sexual well-being across the life course, and how good health and social care practice can support people with their sexual expression. During the day you will be able to collaborate with key partners, participate in some research and learn about the best ways of supporting sexual well-being.
Speakers to include:
Helen Stevens: Director Dorset
Rape Crisis Centre: sexual trauma and sexual well-being
Martin Hedley: sexuality and autism
Professor Claire De Than: Faculty of Law, City University discussing sex and the law
Professor Lee Ann Fenge: sexuality in older age and LGBTQ
Dr Sally Lee: findings from recent research around disability and sexuality
