PAS 2035 Retrofit Assesssor Course
Event Information
About this Event
Property Tectonics and Sterling Accreditation Scheme Retrofit Assessor Training course is a two-day online course that upskills Domestic Energy Assessors to undertake domestic Retrofit Assessments in-line with PAS 2035. This intense workshop delivers training for an integral role in the new PAS 2035 standard, every building that undergoes energy retrofit work will first need to be assessed by a trained and certified Retrofit Assessor.
PAS 2035 is the key overarching document providing new standards in how to conduct effective retrofit existing buildings to improve energy efficiency. It covers how to access dwellings for retrofit, identify improvement options, design and specify Energy Efficiency Measures (EEM) and monitor retrofit projects. The standard adopts a whole house approach and defines the qualifications and responsibilities of individual retrofit roles and respective activities required prior and post EEM installation.
The course leader is Dr Richard Fitton MRICS and he will be supported by Salma Crisp MRICS and they will provide in-depth training to allow DEA’s to become fully competent Retrofit Assessors. The course has been designed to create maximum learning outcomes and as such we have kept each session to a maximum of 10 delegates so that the course is fully interactive with Richard & Salma. Mike Gordon, the Scheme Manager will also be available to answer questions on becoming an accredited Retrofit Assessor with Sterling Accreditation.
