The Foundations of the Digital State is the report of a research project done under the First Ministers Digital Fellowship programme that looks at government digital from a holistic perspective, from in-service, through thinktanks and manifestos, the progamme for government and the legislative programme, parliamentary process and traditional tech tasks of design, develop, test and deploy.

Based on extensive interviews with practitioners from all trades and areas, it is practical and evidence based. This talk will summarise the main discoveries in https://foundationsofthedigitalstate.com

Note that you will need to be a current public servant or civil servant (in either the Scottish Government, UK Government or local government) and have a valid building pass to get access to the venue.
