Saturday 17th January 11am Free Admission
Settling down in the Cobden Corner of the Library, people can come along to read a favourite published poem aloud, or simply listen to what others choose to read. Pass-on-a-Poem has been absent from Manchester for the past couple of years, and Sheila Wild, Chair of the Book Committee, heading the Poetry at the Portico initiative, is delighted to be bringing it back. Spend a most pleasant Saturday morning reading and listening to poetry in the Portico.
Admission free, but donations are welcome.
Tea, Coffee and delicious home-made cake will be available for purchase.
