Described as “enchanting” (The Guardian), soprano Aphrodite Patoulidou from Thessaloniki is forging an impressive international career from her base in Berlin. From her debut in Barbara Hannigan’s Equilibrium project to performances with world-class orchestras including the Concertgebouw, Cleveland Orchestra, Munich Philharmonic, and Utopia, she has captivated audiences across the globe.
She has collaborated with renowned conductors such as Kirill Petrenko, Barbara Hannigan, Antonello Manacorda, Christian Reif, Dalia Stasevska, Leo McFall, and Christopher Moulds.
Dimitris Soukaras has been characterised as “the innovative” (CNN) “musician of the new generation” (Kathimerini) – hails from Corinth and is based in London. He is a multi-award-winning guitarist with over 20 prizes in international competitions and the founder of the MUΣA concert series. Known for his virtuosity, genre-blending creativity, and strong commitment to contemporary music, he has performed with orchestras such as:
Athens State Orchestra, Peterborough Symphony Orchestra, Filarmonica Orchestra Campana, Orchestra de stat Oradea, Academica Athens Orchestra, ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra, and Patras Municipal Orchestra. He has appeared in prestigious venues such as Musikverein, St Martin-in-the-Fields, St John’s Smith Square, and the Athens Megaron Concert Hall.
