The aim of this informal, lunchtime course is to explain what you need to do for your group or organisation to pass both parts of the charity test and become a charity registered in Scotland.

We'll talk you through the process and cover charitable purposes and public benefit.

You'll also get the chance to ask any questions.

Who should attend?

This course is staff or trustees of a group/organisation considering becoming a Scottish charity.

Please note that priority is given to organisations in Edinburgh.

Why can I only book 2 spaces on this training course?

Our free governance training is really popular. In order to make sure we support as many groups and organisations in Edinburgh as possible, we limit bookings to two per charity.
