Event description

Description

This exclusive Hot Topic Briefing is a unique event bringing UK payment companies and FinTech firms face-to-face with regulators from across the EU and understand where you should go to get an e-money licence post-Brexit.

As a follow-up to the ‘Passport to the Future’ report (launched in January 2017), this event will host approximately six regulators from the shortlisted countries - highlighted as alternative Home States for PSPs. The regulators will present to the audience the process, options, costs and timelines for obtaining an e-money licence in their jurisdiction. Audience members will have an unparalleled opportunity to ask regulators burning questions about their specific situation, compare ‘Home State’ options and take the first step in identifying their e-money licence options.

Taking place on 3rd October 2017, this one-day event will consist of keynote presentations from European regulators, dedicated networking opportunities and an exhibition hall full of leading organisations sharing insight. The loss of passporting rights is a hot topic across Europe and it provides the unique opportunity to tap into the insight of Europe’s most innovative regulators. It simply can’t be missed! We expect 150 delegates at this event, which is hosted by K&L Gates, leading global legal firm for FinTech, at their venue overlooking St Pauls cathedral in the heart of Central London.

Delegates will leave equipped with new ideas, fresh connections and potential partnerships to benefit them and their national payments communities in the UK and around the world.
