Description

The Dusty Knuckle Bakery School is very proud to announce that we now offer cooking classes, beginning with a pasta masterclass from chef Ali Young to celebrate gnocchi going on the cafe menu.

Join us for a proper Sunday cooking session where you'll learn how to make knock-out pasta from scratch. Dishes include ricotta tortellini with new season peas in chicken broth with herb oil, gnocchi alla norma, and maltagliati, white beans and gremolata. We will show you how to roll pasta both by hand and machine, and all the techniques you need to roll, stuff, shape and cook pasta.

After making your pasta dishes, you will sit down for a pasta binge with beer from our neighbours at 40ft Brewery or wine. Classes come with a dough scraper, tote bag and recipes, as well as take-home bits and plenty of tips so that you can continue on as a pasta perfectionist in the comfort of your own kitchen.

Ali trained at Spring Restaurant London and Leiths School of Food and Wine. She works as a private chef and runs sell-out supper clubs. She's also an experienced teacher, offering bespoke lessons.
