Step into the vibrant world of street art and learn the playful art of paste-up collage. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll experiment with layering images, text, textures, and patterns to create striking works ready for the walls. You’ll learn the basics of wheatpaste, composition tricks, and how to give your collage work an urban edge.
After the workshop (optional):
Take your fresh creations out into the wall around iconic London International Paste-Up Festival spots in Brick Lane—and see how your work could live alongside the art of international street artists.
You’ll get
- An intro to paste-up culture and collage techniques
- A range of papers, magazines, prints, and glue—all materials supplied
- Time to create your own paste-up piece (or start a small series)
- An optional mini walk to paste on festival locations
Good to know
- No prior art or street art experience needed.
- Dress for making (and possibly a bit of glue!).
- The outdoor walk depends on weather conditions.
