PAT Testing Course

You don’t have to be an electrician to do a PAT testing course.

This great opportunity will enable you to have the skills to PAT test small electrical appliances to ensure you are compliant with your insurance needs, policies and procedures and current legislation.

The 1 day course is aimed at charities, social enterprises, those running community centres, village halls, repair cafés, and more! It will ensure they responsibily meet Electricity at Work Regulations (1989) which require that any electrical equipment that has the potential to cause injury is maintained in a safe condition.

As part of the course you'll cover:

• Hazards of electricity
• Classification of appliances
• Dangers and safety requirements
• Regulation requirements
• IET Code of Practice
• Recording results
• Using a PAT Tester to test your appliances to ensure they are safe and compliant

This course is run by industry experts ITT and is accredited by UKRS.

This course is priced at £45pp, reduced from £150, or FREE (fully subsidised by the GMCA via UKSPF) if you have a Trafford postcode. This includes the use of kit and all materials on the day. Plus you receive a certificate on completion of the course and have access to the training team and some tools after the course.
