Tuesday 9th December | 10am – 4pm

Add a handmade touch to your Christmas table this year! Join us for a full day of creative sewing as you make beautiful patchwork table mats — perfect for bringing festive cheer to your home or giving as thoughtful handmade gifts. ✂️✨

🧵 Basic sewing machine knowledge required

What to bring:

• 3 x fat quarters (contrasting colours) of craft weight cotton fabric
• 1 x 0.5m craft weight cotton fabric
• 1 x fat quarter–sized piece of wadding (ideally insulated or Thermolan)
• Sewing machine (college machines are available - please request this on the booking form)
• Cotton thread
• Sewing kit

☕ Mince pies and hot drinks are included – enjoy a cozy, festive atmosphere while you sew and create something truly special!

This class is a great next step from our beginners’ patchwork courses and an ideal project for seasoned patchworkers looking for a fun festive make. It’s also a wonderful way to discover our other craft classes and keep your creativity growing all year round!

At the North Cambridgeshire Training Centre we pride ourselves on having a friendly team that are welcoming and ready to support you. Our sessions are led by an experienced, supportive tutor that will help you to be successful!
