Event description


Open to all undergraduate medical students in Ireland.

The Symposium will include an overview of pathology disciplines, breakout sessions and sessions on career development and presentation skills.

The provisional programme is below.

Refreshments will be provided, including a buffet dinner (followed by a quiz) on Friday 23rd February.

An allowance of €50 will be provided to students who are not based in Dublin, who cannot avail of free accommodation in Dublin and who need accommodation, towards Friday night B&B on production of an appropriate receipt.

Students should notify the BDIAP in advance of the Symposium if they require an allowance. Please email Sam Kiely, Education and Divisional Manager.

19:30 – 21:00 Dinner & Quiz Note: Students to make their own travel arrangements for Friday 23rd February.

Saturday 24th February

11:00 – 12:30 Break out small group sessions with individual Pathologists in different specialties: Histology | Microbiology | Chem Path | Immunology
