We’ll be talking about what public involvement really means, run through the important rules and guidelines, and then dive into the nuts and bolts of setting up and running Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) that feature in the GP contract and our local WPPC9. We want this to be useful, informal, and full of good ideas you can take back to your practice.
It doesn’t matter if you’re just starting out with your PPG or already have one up and running — everyone’s welcome.
By coming along, you’ll:
- Understand the legal essentials
- Pick up practical ideas and resources
- Learn how others are making involvement work
- Meet other GP engagement champions
This is session one of a two session programme. The second session will take place in November (date tbc) with a focus on patient engagement through Social Media.
You will be sent an outlook diary invite after booking and a link will be sent out closer to the time of the session so make sure the email address you have provided is accessed before the session.
If you are booking more than one person on the session you need to ensure an email address is provided for each person
