About this event

Programme Overview Often termed the ‘NHS Soups and Shakes’ diet, and formerly known as the NHS Low Calorie Diet Programme, the NHS Type 2 Diabetes Path to Remission Programme is a free new service for people with Type 2 diabetes.

Combining specialist nutrition, psychology and physical activity, the NHS Type 2 Diabetes Path to Remission Programme promotes rapid weight loss, long term behaviour change and type two diabetes remission.

You’ll be supported throughout the programme by your Health and Wellbeing Diabetes Practitioner via regular contact, with online learning and supporting resources.

The programme is also supported by GPs, practice nurses, diabetes practitioners, dietitians, clinical psychologists and exercise specialists.
