Event Details

The Great Ormond Street Branch of CLAPA would like to invite you to a Patient/Professional Forum on Saturday 22nd April 2017

The Forum is intended to bring together the GOSH Cleft Team and families in a relaxed, informal and non-clinical setting providing an opportunity for meaningful discussion around the issues faced by those with a cleft lip and/or palate.

This year's forum is focused on 15 - 25 year olds and jaw surgery / osteotomy and will give young people an opportunity to discuss any aspect of treatment.

Due to the nature of the presentation we have been advised that this forum is not suitable for children under 15 years old.

The main highlight will be a member of the young people’s council interviewing GOSH consultants, answering patient questions and queries on issues they have. There will also be a talk from the Maxillofacial / dental team who will be able to answer any questions.

The day will end with a light lunch and a chance to speak to the cleft team.
