PATTERNITALK: Patterns in Food
Wed 31 May 2017, 18:30 – 20:30 BST
This year, globally renowned pattern and design innovators Patternity are coming to Leeds to present one of their acclaimed PATTERNITALK & MARBLING WORKSHOP, all based around the theme of food.
PATTERNITALK will look at microscopic patterns of plant growth, unseen systems of food production, finding inspiration in everyday food items, leading into a MARBLING WORKSHOP, encouraging participants to see patterns of growth, create recipes for different colour and print combinations, explore creativity and serendipity through a hands on marbling workshop. All participants will be able to take home and keep works produced during the evenings activities.
