Event description

Description

Note: Due to the results of the scope walk, Blakesley was an unsafe route to lead a group of people. Therefore we have scoped out a new Pattishall walk that we have not completed previously.

MEETING PLACE: Pattishall Car Park, which is opposite the school.

Walk leaders: Michelle & Nigel Banister

ABOUT THE WALK – grade: Moderate Route

This is a moderate walk which includes a long hill at the beginning of the walk and numerous stiles. This particular trail gives all walkers amazing views, very vocal sheep, fluffy cute cows (that are in another field and we do not walk through them), and two HUGE hairy pigs! We saw kites flying freely, a few badger sets and hidden pathways that you would never have found if you didn't know the area.

There are numerous stiles on this walk that are not dog-friendly, so no big dogs please.

A huge thank you to Nigel and Michelle who have scoped out a few routes before deciding on this one – it was fabulous!

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU

  • Good trainers or walking shoes (and other clothes of course!).
  • A drink and snacks.
  • A torch as the nights is now drawing in. (No head torches please).
