About this Event
What is it?
These three live sessions will offer you some guided calm and compassion, permission to feel however you feel, and practical tools to support your mind, body, breath and spirit.
Olivia will share tools to support you with all the lockdown feels - overwhelm, anxiety, lack of control, guilt, loneliness, anger, irritability, grief, FOGO... she'll also sprinkle you with some compassion, permission, forgiveness, kindness, and just a few moments of peace as you start your impossibly busy week.
How does it work?
Topics will be Acceptance, Connection and Compassion. Each session you get 30mins of topic discussion from Olivia, then extra time to chat with the group and ask questions. Sharing is totally optional and it’s absolutely fine to have your camera switched off throughout the session if you prefer.
There are three Zoom sessions in this block, on Mondays at 8pm (25th Jan, 1st Feb, 8th Feb). Book all three for just £25. We will send you an email with the Zoom link and password on the day of each session.
Why should I join / how will I feel?
Motherhood is hard enough as it is. Since COVID turned our lives upside down, all of us need some sanity support. The whole of the pandemic has brought an unpredictable rollercoaster of uncertainty and overwhelm. Give yourself permission to find it hard, and know that you’re not alone. This is your chance for some headspace during this crazy time.
What about the kids?
Your kids might be with you. That’s absolutely fine, and please don’t let it stop you signing up or joining in. The quick 30min sessions are designed with this in mind. If you can find a human/screen/activity to occupy them for half an hour, great. If not, just do what feels doable. They are also very welcome to sit with you and join in. If you can only make it for 5 or 10mins, that’s always better than doing nothing while you wait in vain for that sacred hour of peace.
