Paws on the Tyne – Festive Dog Parade on Newcastle's Quayside 🐾🎄
Get ready for a tail-wagging festive adventure! This is your chance to wrap up warm, pop a Christmas jumper on your pup, and help us raise vital funds to fight homelessness and bad housing this winter.

🐶 What to Expect & What's Included
- A relaxed, family-friendly, accessible walk along the Quayside (route to be announced).
- Festive fancy dress competition for dogs with prizes.
- A FREE festive finishers 'doggy bag' for your furry friend.
- A FREE bobble hat for the humans!
- Warm refreshments and puppachino's at the finish line to keep tails wagging.
- A photo of you and your dogs with Santa (for a suggested donation).
- A chance to connect with fellow dog lovers while supporting a vital cause.

- General Entry (includes one dog): £10
- Additional Dog Entry: £5
All ticket sales and proceeds made from Paws On The Tyne will go to Shelter, supporting people experiencing homelessness right here in the North East ❤️
💌 Fundraise with Your Furry Friend
As well as taking part, you can sponsor your dog to raise even more for Shelter. Whether it’s £5 from a neighbour or £50 from friends and family, every pound helps us be there for people and pets at risk of losing their home this winter. Once you sign up, we’ll send you details on how to set up your dog’s fundraising page. Any sponsorship over £50 will receive a FREE pet bandana!🐾

Yes! To ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment, please keep your dog on a short lead at all times.
Every person paying an entry fee will get a bobble hat on the day of the event. Come find us at registration and get yourself some great knitwear!
Yes, the Quayside front is fully accessible
Absolutely! If you would like to take part as a team, please email our event organiser at Jess_Sullivan@Shelter.org.uk so we can send you the information about registering you as a team.

Paws On The Tyne is open to all ages (under 16's will need accompanying by an adult) and abilities. You can walk or wheel your challenge - whatever suits you best!
