The RYA Powerboat Level 1 Course is an introduction to boating techniques, everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment. It is a one day introduction to powerboating. The course is perfect for those who are new to the water, want a relaxed days learning a few basics, those who intend to mainly crew and/or youngsters. It is a relaxed day, time to spend on the water getting familiar with boat controls with no pressure. It is a confidence building experience day, perfect introduction day for all.

Under 18:

Please note if you are booking for youngsters under the age of 18 without an adult then for safeguarding reasons we need a minimum of two bookings. We may also be able to use a smaller boat more suited to smaller people once we know the ages of the youngsters. For youngsters aged 8-12 we may ask parents to stay close by and meet your youngsters for lunch.

Bookings are not confirmed until we have spoken directly with you and booking forms completed. We advise you to take out insurance for any ancillary costs associated and as all activities are weather dependent, in any event to consider refund policies of accomodation. We advise against booking travel or accomodation until we have spoen directly.

Although the ticket option states no refunds- we are aware that sometimes events occur that we are not expecting so please be assured we will always do our best to work with you to transfer to a new date. Our terms and conditions are available on our website.
