Who is it for: Anybody who works in care homes or social services; such as support workers, team leaders, managers, psychologists, social workers, front line carers and some people in clinical settings.

What does it cover: A one-day training session mapped against the Key Components of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) (Gore et al., 2022).

Participants will learn what PBS is, how it focuses on quality of life and behaviour analytic processes to contextualise and understand behaviours that challenge.

This course is CPD accredited.

Is this training funded or do we pay ourselves?

This training is not funded we're afraid so you will need to pay. However, some organisations may be eligible to reclaim the costs from the Department of Health and Social Care's Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS).

Do I have to attend the whole course?

This course is CPD accredited and therefore any participant who misses more than 30 minutes of the session will not have completed enough learning hours to be eligible for the CPD Certificate. Please do let us know if you have concerns about your ability to attend for the whole session.
