Do you provide pregnancy, birth and/or postnatal services, education or support for families or individuals who are expecting a baby or who have recently had a baby?
If you are a self-employed, independent professional looking to connect, network, support and collaborate with others we’d love you to join us at our Collaboration Club social and networking event.*
At September's Collaboration Club you will enjoy an Introduction to SEO from our guest Zoe Barnett of Zo Connected.
Zoe will share an over view of SEO and how it applies to your website, with some quick and easy updates to increase traffic to your website. You can then apply them yourself if you manage your own site, or work with your web designer.
There will be time for Questions and Answers and also to apply your new skills by working on your PBY Team Bio, or your About Page if you are not a PBY member. - you can either do this with paper and pen or bring your laptop.
The SEO Session will be 7-9pm, but please arrive anytime from 6pm so that you can have a chat/catch up with everyone attending.
The kitchen will be open at the venue for water and we'll provide some tea, coffee and biscuits, but feel free to bring your own!
Parking is free on the hall car park - but it can get busy with other hall and playing field users, so if you can't park please use Trickett Lane Opposite and not the main road to park.
Zoe is a website copywriter + SEO strategist she can help you articulate your value, establish your brand voice, clarify your messaging, show up on Google and see oh-so-warm leads in your inbox. She's a mum and has been supported by both Sarah and Kat on the PBY Team in her pregnancy and postnatal journey to motherhood. You can find her here: https://zoconnected.com/ and on socials here: https://www.facebook.com/ZoConnected/ & https://www.instagram.com/zo_connected/
Operating on your own to grow and manage a small businesses can be hard and lonely. Pregnancy Baby and You was created by a small group of individuals who wanted to provide support not only to the families they work with but also to each other. This has enabled us to keep our businesses fluid and provided much needed lifting up, validating and sharing of ideas, as well as formed great friendships and collaborations.
We're now offering Collaboration Club events which are intended to offer space for peer support, to be able to chat, listen and share experiences. We hope that from this, ideas will blossom, more small businesses will succeed, and collaborations will grow, so that ultimately more families will be supported as they move into parenthood.
Please note that the event runs on the ethos of Pregnancy Baby and You - Support, not sales, and collaboration, not competition. We believe in empowering each other and those around us and that providing support for families is more important than sales.
The event will be hosted by Sarah, PBY Team member and Yoga Teacher at Breathing Space Yoga.
*If you operate as part of a franchise you are welcome to come along as an individual rather than representing the franchise itself.
