Training for National Procurement staff in using PECOS Content Manager (PCM)

About this Event

PCM (Pecos Content Manager) is a catalogue driven solution which NHS Scotland use to publish data to PECOS. There are three modules:

  1. SSM - Self Service Manager for managing master data
  2. PROV - for user management information
  3. OPC - for searching and viewing catalogue product information.

The training is applicable to Health Board individuals who load, share and publish catalogue data. The training will be delivered in a classroom style environment.

On completion of this course attendees will be able to:

  1. access the module.
  2. understand the system overview & principles.
  3. complete the template and apply the key data fields naming conventions.
  4. create relationship between customer, supplier, contract & catalogue.
  5. load catalogues, create notification rules, activation dates, share catalogues.
  6. understand the delta reports generated by PCM.
  7. understand Load and Error Reports.
