The outbreak of Coronavirus has caused major disruptions to the education of young people everywhere. To compensate, teachers faced the major challenge of quickly getting up to speed with the skills necessary to teach and support their students at a distance.

Of course the lockdown and social distancing strategies deployed by governments also challenged how teachers could rapidly acquire such skills, and so Tablet Academy have stepped up to the plate, and, with the support from our friends at Microsoft, will be running a series of 42 free events, in English, Dutch, French and German.

How to join an interactive workshop

this session will be delivered remotely, we are providing you with an O365 account to use for the workshop. The meeting will be held in Microsoft Teams and can be joined by logging in to your workshop account. • An opportunity to get hands-on with Microsoft Teams and explore how you can set up and manage virtual classes, keep in touch with your students and how to collaborate with colleagues to deliver effective home learning.

• Introduction to delivering remote lessons using Microsoft Teams
• Introduction to using Minecraft in Education Edition
• Teaching Mathematics using OneNote, Forms, and Maths solver
• Microsoft Accessibility Tools
• Delivering Remote Presentations using Whiteboard, PowerPoint and Stream
