PADDLE AFTER SCHOOL CLUB

SUMMER HALF TERM 2

This course will include a range of paddle sports on the river.

Age: School Years 7-11

Time: 4.30-6.30pm

Location: Kempston Outdoor Centre, Hillgrounds, MK42 8QP

Day: Mondays

Dates:

June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

WEAR TO EVERY SESSION: All items must be able to get wet/muddy:

• Sports clothes/Swim clothes and t-shirt & shorts
• WATER SHOES/OLD TRAINERS that will be worn in/on the river.
• Weather appropriate clothing such as a jumper/waterproof

BRING TO EVERY SESSION:

• A 2nd DRY pair of trainers
• A FULL CHANGE OF CLOTHES INCLUDING UNDERWEAR
• A TOWEL
• A BAG FOR ALL BELONGINGS
• REFILLABLE WATER BOTTLE
• Jumper/coat as appropriate for weather conditions/time of day

Please note, there is a small charge for the bursary ticket for this course

Wear sports clothes

Bring a refillable water bottle

Participants must be able to swim 15m unaided

( After School clubs do not run during school holidays or on bank holidays)

YOUNG PEOPLE SHOULD LIVE IN OR ATTEND SCHOOL IN BEDFORDSHIRE.

**PLEASE NOTE - As F4YP is now its own entity we require full tickets to be completed by all YPs this term. Sorry for the inconvenience

• • If applying for a bursary place we we will require evidence to show you meet the criteria.
  • Purchasing a ticket does not guarantee a place on the course. We reserve the right to refuse places to applicants.
  • We accept purchase of tickets as parental consent for your YP's to receive emergency medical aid if required during his/her attendance at any of our programmes.
  • We do not share information with third parties. Only statistics created from data will be used for our funding purposes. All staff are independently DBS checked.
  • During the course your YP will receive additional support from the pastoral team. If your child has an EHCP or additional support at school it is helpful for us to know this before hand so that we can provide consistent support. We may also contact the school if we have additional concerns. If your child has 1:1 support at school please inform us of this, we may request a visit with their school so that we can assess your child's needs
