NOTE: Please bring suitable attire, this event will be held OUTSIDE in our peace garden. Bring your own blanket if necessary but if you forget, we have temple blankets that you can use during the session.


A conceptually themed show garden incorporating ideas from the Buddhist philosophy, reflecting the path of life, with a balanced emphasis on past, present and future (RHS Hampton Court)

This inspiring talk will be given by Edward Mairis, an award-winning landscape designer with two decades of experience. It forms part of the Third Thursday Talks at Woking's Dhammakaya Buddhist Temple to encourage daily inner peace practice.

Join us for an enchanting experience as Edward talks us through "The Journey of Life - A Buddhist Garden", a garden he designed that was previously exhibited at the prestigious RHS Hampton Court in 2017, even winning a Bronze Medal.

What should I know about temple etiquette?

Once you arrive, please remove your shoes and place them in the lockers provided. Proceed to the main hall. Out of respect, ladies are provided with a napkin to lay across their laps during meditation. Both normal chairs and floor chairs are provided for your comfort.
