We are going to abseil 115 feet down Peacehaven Cliffs to raise money for Friends of Brighton & Hove Hospitals. We're looking for brave people to take part in this dare-devil experience! To secure your place we're asking for £25.00 registration fee with a target of £150.00 sponsorship.
The abseil is a physical event and as such there are a number of restrictions on age, weight, health conditions.
We're delighted to be teaming up with our friends at Rockinghorse Charity for this exciting event.
FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Each participant must be: -
• 10 years or older (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult). If you are lucky enough to look as though you might be under 18 please bring proof of age.
• A weight of less than 16 stone (100kg).
• In good physical health - Those who have undergone an operation within the last 12 months or with medical conditions which may be aggravated by participation, are required to provide a letter from their GP stating they are fit to take part.
• If you do not meet these requirements you will not be permitted to participate.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is a regular bus service along the coast - 12A or 12 from North Street, Brighton.
The cliffs are about a mile from Newhaven train station.
The nearest car park is on the A259 - Piddinghoe Avenue car park.
It's also possible to cycle.
