Event Details

Peaky Tours will take you on a dark journey of discovery. A journey about poverty, crime and gangs which still has a resonance in the 21st century.

This tour will have Professor Carl Chinn take you on a guided history tour of the sites and scenes of some of the Peaky Blinders most notorious places.

Starting at The Old Crown and taking in the Rainbow Pub where the term "Peaky Blinder" was first penned, you will see and hear with your own eyes and ears how the gang became the most feared gang in the whole of England.

Is my registration/ticket transferable?
Tickets are non refundable and non transferable.

What is on the menu?
On our Dinner, Drink and Tour option, the menu is "victorian fayre" meaning faggots, mash and peas. Should you require a vegetarian option, we can offer this. Vegetarian, vegan and other meals are available on request.

Should you like anything other than the victorian fayre or have any other dietary requirements, please inform us within 7 days of the event in order for us to notify the kitchen.

Failure to inform us within 7 days of your tour will incur a supplement to pay on the night of between £5.00 and £10.00.

What Time Does The Tour Begin?
All guests should arrive by 6:45pm for a 7:00pm start.

What Time Does The Tour End?
This very much depends on the number of questions that are asked. We aim to finish by 10:00pm but this can be later. Should you wish to leave to catch trains, buses then please feel free to leave at your convenience.

Crime-ridden streets, gangland warfare, poverty, desperation and murder. Are we talking about New York or Chicago in the 1920s?

No, we're talking about the dark past of Birmingham in the 1880s and early 1900s when gangs roamed the streets and ruled not with an iron fist, but supposedly with razor blades sewn into their caps!
