Event description

Description

Your child will use Scratch to make their own Animal Agents computer game, setting clues and creating animations to find a missing bowl of cheesy puffs! Once they've completed their game, there'll be an opportunity to work with a partner and test out each other’s games.

This is a free beginner level coding taster session aimed at 8 to 11 year olds.

To attend children must be signed up to the Animal Agents Summer Reading Challenge 2017.

Booking is essential for children’s places only. Parents and carers are welcome to come along as well and find out more about coding with Scratch.

Book from Saturday 15 July.

For more information call 01332 715260 or email peartree.library@derby.gov.uk

This event is supported by Code Club, a nationwide network of volunteer-led after school coding clubs for children aged 9-13. To find out more about their activities and volunteering opportunities, go to www.codeclub.org.uk
