Homework Club is organised by libraries and run by trained volunteers and library staff. Sessions are open to all children and young people but are aimed particularly at nine to 14 year olds.
Children must be a member of the library to take part.
Sessions are free and there is no need to book. Children can drop in at any time and stay for as long or as short a time as they like.
During Homework Club children can:
practise their basic computer skills
find information they need to complete their homework using a number of resources
practise spellings, readings and basic maths
All sessions are term time only
NOTE: Session days changing after October half term. Starting Wednesday 2 November 2016, the club will move permanently from Thursdays to Wednesdays.
