PechaKucha x Creative Scene
PechaKucha Night returns to Huddersfield with a focus on the creative spirit of North Kirklees curated by Creative Scene.
Our 11th edition of PechaKucha Night turns its focus to the creative people, ideas and communities of North Kirklees. Once again our programme of speakers will share their work, passions and experiences using the PechaKucha 20x20 presentation style in which 20 images are shown for 20 seconds each (6 minutes and 40 seconds in total). It's fast-paced, fun and always fascinating.

PechaKucha Night Huddersfield 11 is curated by Creative Scene, the new Arts Council of England funded project.
PechaKucha Night was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 and has since turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world, inspiring people worldwide. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of "chit chat", it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It's a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.
Creative Scene is The Arts Council of England’s Creative People and Places project in North Kirklees/West Yorkshire. It is an exciting programme of arts and creative activities which will take place throughout North Kirklees in the coming three years. The Creative Scene project will develop and test new ways to engage people in the arts. For more information visit: https://www.facebook.com/CreativeScene.uk
