The Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences welcome you to the annual summer conference on: 

Pedagogies, Practitioners and Identities in Education

13th July, 9.30am—4.30pm

Provisional outline for the day:  

9.30-10.30 - Welcome and Keynote
9.00-9.30 - Registration and Coffee
10.30-12.00 - Research Presentations 
12.00-12.45 - "Technology in Education" debating panel
12.45-1.30 - Lunch and Poster Presentations
1.30-2.00 - Keynote 
2.00-2.30 - "Hot Topics" debating tables 
2.30-4.15 - Research Presentations 
4.14-5.00 - Performance, awards and closing

Lunch will be provided in the day. There will be prizes for poster presentations.

 

FAQs

Are there ID requirements to enter the event?

We ask that you sign up via Eventbrite. Your name will be added to the guest list and you must register your attendance with us in the morning and collect your conference brochure and timetable. 

I am presenting, do I need to sign up via Eventbrite?

Your name will automatically be added to the guest list but signing up on Eventbrite will ensure your name is added. It is recommended that you sign up here especially if you are presenting in a group and are not the lead presenter.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There is staff parking that you can access if you have a parking permit displaced in your car window. There is also a visitor car park which is £2 a day.

 

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

It will help if you bring your ticket but not essential.
