Pedagogy Essentials - Checking Understanding

In this workshop we will look deeper into how checking for understanding can enable teachers to ensure that knowledge and understanding are being developed correctly, that misconceptions are being uncovered and that the current lesson structure, content, pace and levels of support are optimal.

By examining the active ingredients, deliberate differences and possible techniques we will see how to ensure that we always able to provide feedback and adapt effectively.

This online session is a standalone element of the pedagogy Essentials course .
