Thank you for booking to attend the MAY Pedagogy Journal Club. Given the current circumstances, we have decided to continue running the club in a virtual format through Zoom. I’d imagine most people will be using Zoom now but, if not, please be assured that it is very easy. To join the virtual meeting, just click on the following URL link: https://zoom.us/j/346355889 and select ‘computer audio’ otherwise you will be charged expensive fees to dial in. Once connected you can mute your microphone and choose to have video or not (if you have a webcam). Zoom works on mobile phones, iPads and laptops so should be accessible to the majority of people. The Academy for Education and Professional Development’s mission is “To ensure consistent high-quality development and delivery of educational programmes with student experience at their heart”. Academy events are open to all those who contribute to the development, delivery and management of FBMH undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing professional development programmes including staff from across the University, the Manchester Academic Health Science Centre and our NHS clinical education partners. The Pedagogy Seminar Series provides a forum to discuss research undertaken and/or pedagogy literature of interest.
