Bring your friends and family to the Two Tunnels Greenway on bank holiday Monday 26 August for a free cycle treasure hunt in search of King Bladud's Pigs.
Starting at the Bloomfield Park end of the Devonshire Tunnel, The Great Pig Hunt takes you on a journey to find incarnations of some of the famous pigs spotted in recent years throughout the City of Bath.
The route is flat and free from traffic, so is suitable for all ages and abilities. Find all the pigs and you might even win a prize! The riders from the Pedal On UK tour will be stopping for lunch at the portrait bench around 1pm, so why not join them by bringing a picnic to enjoy at Bloomfield Park, next to the Devonshire Tunnel entrance.
For an extended day of fun, follow the Pedal On UK riders as they head to their next destination in Bristol to join in with the Pedal On UK: Bristol celebrations.
The event is supported by the Widcombe Association.
When & Where
Pedal On UK
Pedal On UK celebrates dozens of walking and cycling networks completed by Sustrans so people of all ages and abilities can get about on foot or two wheels.
Delivered by charity Sustrans and backed by the Big Lottery Fund’s Spirit of 2012 campaign, Pedal On UK will highlight the importance to our health, environment and communities of being able to get around by foot and bike.
At its heart will be a group of cycling volunteers visiting 37 communities over 23 days to see, and hear, how getting about locally is far easier, and joining in with community events enabling everyone to Pedal On.
