This year the annual Pedal Power Conference will take place over the weekend of the 18-19th November and is open to Members and Non-Members. Following the popularity of the workshops run last year, for 2017 we will be bringing a top-flight speaker, followed by a choice of workshops on each day, with the AGM and hot buffet lunch on Sunday. Book early, as availability is strictly limited!

Saturday 18th November (1pm - 5pm)

The afternoon kicks off with a presentation from Alex Camier, cycling coach with ORICA-SCOTT UCI World Tour Team providing insights into the world of coaching professional cyclists, in this era of greater emphasis on sports science and coaching.

Followed by workshops with a choice of one from the two available (Please note your choice on the booking comments):

Workshop 1: Coach Leadership and Quality which will become a mandatory part of the CPD (Continuing /professional Development) accreditation

Workshop 2: Annual Training Plans covering training to succeed vs training to ride and how to develop an effective training plan

Sunday 19th November (9am - 5pm)

The second day will include a presentation from Sheila Hardy, Chairmam of CTT, the National Governing Body for Cycling Time Trials in England, Wales and Scotland. Sheila has overseen the development and transition of CTT to the successful NGB organisation it is today and will speak on "Breaking Boundaries - The First Chairmam of Time Trialling" (sic).

There will also be the opportunity to choose two of the following three planned workshops (Please note your choice on the booking comments):
